Settings › Team lists everyone with access to your account and the role each one holds. Everyone can open it. Only an administrator can change a role.

Changing someone’s role

  1. Open Settings › Team.
  2. Select the pencil on that person’s row.
  3. Pick the new role. Each one carries a line describing what it grants, and Roles and permissions has the full picture.
  4. Select Save.
The change applies from that person’s next action. They do not sign in again, and you do not have to tell them to reload anything.

Two changes the dashboard will not make

You cannot change your own role. The pencil on your own row is muted. Ask another administrator on your team. The last administrator keeps the role. Somebody has to be able to assign roles and read the production credentials off the dashboard, so a change that would leave the account with no administrator is not allowed. Give someone else the Administrator role first; they can then change yours. Both rules are enforced by Kira, not by the screen.

Adding and removing people

Kira does that. Ask, naming the person and the role they should start with — see Access. Nothing on the Team screen creates or removes a login.

What is recorded

A role change is recorded against the administrator who made it, the same way every other action in the dashboard is recorded against the person who took it.
