# List countries

> List every country Kira recognizes, ordered by name, each with its subdivisions.

Use it to fill your country and subdivision pickers, and to check `address_country` and `nationality` before you create a user or a recipient. The whole catalog arrives in one call: there are no query parameters and no paging.

It is anchored with `\A` and `\Z`. JavaScript does not support
